Description:
LESTAC-TR100 Terpene Resin, also known as polyterpene resin, is derived from terpene feedstocks either from wood sources or from citrus fruit, by the use of turpentine and α pinene and β pinene, in the role of aluminium trichloride catalyst, through the cationic polymerization obtained by the solid from the liquid to a series of linear polymers.
Application:
Terprene resin imparts excellent, aggressive adhesion to almost all polymer types, including, natural rubber, EVA, APO, PE, SBR, SIS, SBS, and acrylics. Due to their very broad compatibility, they are sometimes called “universal tackifiers”. Used as solvent-based pressure sensitive adhesives, paper-plastic laminating adhesive, SBS solvent-based adhesives, graft neoprene adhesives, hot-melt adhesives, rubber, inks, coatings, color printing, painting oil, packaging, anti-embroidered oil, etc. Terpene resin, however, is somewhat restricted due to their limited supply and higher cost than C5 petroleum resin or natural tackifier rosins.
Characters:
Slight odor, Light color,
Good tacknifer, Strong adhesion, Good aging resistance,
High cohesion, High transparency, High viscosity,
Distinguished initial adhesion, Good compatibility with various polymers,
Specification:
25kgs net kraft paper bag or PP woven-plastic bag / 500kgs or 750kgs bulk bag
Storage & Defence:
LESTAC-TR100 polyterprene resin is non-hazardous product, stored in dry and cool place with fire fighting facilities, far away from fire, sunshine, moisture and pollution.
